Nope, it has nothing to do with football.
He was bitten by his precious pet dog Shar Pei. Yeah apparently the dog wasn't feeling well at night and crept on bed with him. And just when Maradona was about to kiss the dog, "Bela" - the Shar Pei took a big chunk out of his face.
OUCH!
